Tempered Insulated Glass

Tempered insulated glass consists of two or more pieces of tempered glass, which are separated by spacers and sealed to form a hollow cavity filled with gas. The tempering process increases the strength of each piece of glass, making it more resistant to impact, thermal stress, and breakage.

This sealed space is typically filled with an inert gas such as air or argon, which can significantly reduce heat transfer, improving the heat insulation performance and energy efficiency of the glass. When combined with Low-E glass or laminated glass, the glass can achieve even better overall performance in terms of solar radiation control, sound insulation, noise reduction, and safety protection.

Tempered insulated glass is a good choice for applications that require both high levels of safety and thermal insulation. In the event of an impact breakage, tempered glass will shatter into small, blunt-edged fragments, effectively reducing the risk of personal injury while maintaining structural integrity.
